Volunteer

All VSA's volunteering assignments are based on our principle of skills-sharing - committed volunteers from Aotearoa New Zealand working alongside committed local people. Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds, from accountants and lawyers, to sports trainers and eco-tourism operators.

What VSA provides

As a VSA volunteer we provide you with a living allowance that is sufficient to support yourself during assignment. We'll also supply you with accommodation, return flights, comprehensive insurance cover, and visas and permits.

If you think you have suitable skills for one of the assignments on our list of vacancies, click on the job title. This will take you to a page with a complete assignment description for the role and an application form. You can email or post in your application to us.

Register your interest

If the assignments above don't suit your skills and experience, or you are not available immediately, you can register your interest with us and we'll let you know when something in your field is available.
