I was offered the opportunity to extend my management responsibilities by managing six staff within the Volunteer Recruitment Team and the Operations Team. I provide thought leadership, current best practice guidance and expertise with regard to recruitment, logistics, delivery of business transformation, and the identification of organisational risk, to ensure the effective management of VSA's volunteers across the Pacific.

In terms of ensuring the performance of our team, I am also responsible for leadership, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and professional development, with the goal of driving high levels of organisational performance and employee satisfaction and loyalty.

As the member of the Management Group, I contribute strategic and operational advice for consideration and future planning. I maintain a high level of engagement with other parts of the business that significantly impact on the team's activities, including Business Development, Marketing and Communications, Programme Management and Finance.
