Support Callan Disability Services Centres to promote community based rehabilitation and disability services for people in East New Britain.

Callan Services for Disabled Persons is an organisation set up by the congregation of the Christian Brothers of Papua New Guinea. They strive for a fully inclusive society in which mainstream services support people with disabilities without any discrimination or barriers, so that they can live quality lives.

The volunteer will work with the Callan Services Special Education Resource Centre (SERC), which provides services primarily for disabled children. Through training and education, the volunteer will support SERC staff to promote the rights of those who are disabled, or unable to protect or represent themselves.

This is a two year assignment and basic, furnished accommodation will be provided.
