Assist the Vatu Rural Training Centre in developing training courses.

The Vatu Rural Training Centre (RTC) aims to train young people in life skills, leadership and basic work skills to enable them to improve the quality of life in their village communities. The Principal of Vatu RTC would like to increase the economic base of Vatu RTC to the point where it becomes economically self sufficient. It is, however, recognised that this is a long term goal and could take longer than the initial two year volunteer assignment period.

The volunteer will assist local cooperatives and agriculture associations to operate effectively by providing short courses in business management and marketing. The volunteer will also assist the principal of Vatu RTC to develop and deliver an effective course in small business management to Vatu RTC students.

This is a two year assignment and basic accommodation will be provided on site at Vatu RTC.
