Tonga Business Enterprise Centre


The Tonga Business Enterprise Centre (TBEC) was set up in November 2010 to help advance Tonga’s private sector businesses. TBEC provides business advisory, mentoring services and training to existing small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in Tonga.

A critical need in Tonga is to develop skills in the areas of financial management and understanding/ using financial reporting as a tool for planning and decision making.

TBEC believes that by improving the accuracy and timeliness of account preparation and a strengthened function of financial tools, businesses will be in a stronger position to lead their development and growth.
