The Nazareth Rehabilitation Programme is a small Catholic NGO set up in 2001 by a local congregation of the Sisters of Nazareth to help women and children who have been the victims of violence. It also runs training and leadership courses directed at all levels of the community.
Separated geographically and culturally from mainland PNG, the region’s 10-year conflict left half the population displaced and communities divided. Today, it is still classified as a post-conflict society. View country
