Judicial System Monitoring Programme

The Judicial System Monitoring Programme (JSMP) was established to monitor the Ad Hoc Human Rights Tribunal in Indonesia and the Special Panels for Serious Crimes in Timor-Leste. It informs the Timorese people of Panel decisions but also provides human rights training, training for judicial officials and district workshops explaining judicial processes and civil and political rights. Its main objective is to improve the quality of justice and promote human rights and the rule of law in a meaningful and transparent manner to the people of Timor-Leste. VSA is currently recruiting for JSMP’s first volunteer (a Funding Development Coach).
