International Development Enterprises (IDE) is an international organisation operating in 11 countries to create income opportunities for poor rural households. In Zambia the three major strategies used are:  improving access to appropriate irrigation technologies and farm inputs, strengthening on-farm production skills, and facilitating integration into local commercial markets.
