Register Your Interest

VSA recruits for volunteer assignments in response to specific requests from employing authorities in the Pacific, South East Asia, and Africa. These requests are usually for people with a professional qualification and at least two years work experience relevant to the skills requested, as most of our positions involve training others in those skills. Some examples of the type of work VSA participates in are:

• health
• education, teacher training
• trades tutoring, community development
• special education
• farming, horticulture, agriculture
• conservation
• small business
• engineering, resource planning, tourism, development
• management and
• Institutional strengthening of non-government organisations.

If you feel that your background is not quite suitable for an assignment we are currently advertising on our website, we can include your details on our database and contact you when assignments in your field of work become available.

volunteer@vsa.org.nz OR post it to PO Box 12-246, Wellington 6144.

Please note that all VSA volunteers must have NZ residency status and have lived in NZ preferably for a period of at least two years. Please contact us for any further enquiries.
