The Binh Dinh Department of Education and Training (DoET) is responsible for the development and delivery of preschool, primary and secondary education services, including some aspects of tertiary education and training, in Binh Dinh Province. VSA currently has a volunteer Early Childhood Adviser to support DoET in implementing the province's Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Project. The VSA volunteer will complete her assignment in mid April 2009. This assignment is intended to build on the work of the volunteer to strengthen DoET's capacity to implement the ECCE project.
The volunteer will train and support early childhood education teachers in Binh Dinh Province, especially those in remote and disadvantaged areas, to deliver the national early childhood curriculum. This is a two year assignment and basic, shared, furnished accommodation will be provided by VSA
