The Vanuatu Early Childhood Association (VEJA) was established in the early 1980s and is a registered NGO and charity previously funded by UNICEF. Now funded by the Ministry of Education, VEJA works alongside the ministry to improve the quality of education in the preschools of rural Vanuatu.
The association is looking for an experienced Preschool Teacher trainer to strengthen the capacity of VEJA's Santo and Malo Province Key Teachers. This role aims to ensure the delivery of higher quality Preschool Training Programmes and upgrades that meet the new policy standards as per the VEJA National upgrade plan, and the provision of support for a formal early childhood education qualification for the province's Preschool Teachers. This is a two-year assignment with basic furnished accommodation provided by VSA.
