The Choiseul Provincial Government is in the process of rebuilding and rejuvenating the Provincial Administration and the economy in the province, and establishing workable boundaries and separations of power between the administrative and political arms of the Provincial Government.
The successful applicant will need to provide legal advice and assistance on request to staff employed by the Provincial Assembly, particularly Heads of Division, and Members of the Provincial Executive both individually and by attendance at Executive meetings. The provision of such assistance enhances the officers' and ministers' knowledge and understanding of legal matters affecting the province. A small, furnished house in Taro will be provided by the Provincial Government.
