The Bougainville Healthy Communities Programme (BHCP) based in Arawa was formed in 2005 in a plan to help village people improve their well-being through a sustainable local level approach. The BHCP focuses on promoting the prevention of sickness by allowing people to identify and take action on health issues in their families and villages in order to develop a healthier community in Bougainville.
BHCP is looking for a Training Advisor to work in partnership with the Project Manager and Facilitator of the Village Health Programme to assess and deliver relevant village-based health training to the local community. This is a two-year assignment and basic furnished accommodation is provided.
