Osi Tanata Innovative Business Studies (OT IBS) Programme is one component of Osi Tanata's "Building capabilities: rebuilding Bougainville together" Project. Osi Tanata was formed in 1998 as an Oxfam NZ Project to assist with the re-establishment of civil society and livelihood options for remote rural communities, by providing an advocacy role and assisting through capacity building, vocational skills training and small development projects.
Osi Tanata plans to establish the Business Studies Programme into a self-sustaining Business Training Institution. The desire is to meet the increasing demand for an institution that is well-managed, with training programmes developed to meet international standards and tailored to meet the students' business training needs.
OTIBS is looking for an experienced Trainer to develop and implement Business Studies programmes in partnership with local trainers to effectively deliver training programmes to their communities. This is a two-year assignment and basic furnished accommodation will be provided.
