Eastern Cape Socio-Economic Consultative Council(ECSECC) is a policy and planning institution based in Bhisho in the Eastern Cape Province. It is committed to developing stronger cooperation between government, local labour, organised business and developmental NGOs.

The ECSECC is looking for a GIS/Database Specialist who is able to support various internal and external stakeholders in the use of GIS and socio-economic databases as essential development planning tools. The role includes developing and promoting GIS projects and solutions to analyse complex development issues as well as mentoring ECSECC interns. This is a two-year assignment and accommodation will be provided in either King William's Town or East London.
