The Star Uplifting Centre is a not-for-profit organisation based in the township of Dimbaza on the Eastern Cape. It is the only early childhood education centre catering for able and special needs children in the Eastern Cape. It was formed in 1999 with the primary aim of educating pre-school children and older children with special needs in an inclusive environment.
Star is looking for a Physio/Occupational Therapist who can integrate therapeutic techniques into their care-giving programmes and deliver support and therapeutic services to the children and their families. This is a two year assignment and basic furnished accommodation is provided in King William's Town.
