If you feel you have the skills and experience to take up a VSA assignment but none of the assignments below suit you, you can register your interest with us and we can notify you when an assignment in your field of work comes up.

Please note that all volunteers must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents with the right of re-entry to New Zealand. We prefer that VSA volunteers have lived in New Zealand for a period of at least two years. NZ citizens living abroad will be considered for assignments but all interviews are held in our office in Wellington and volunteers are also required to attend a briefing course in Wellington.
