What will a VSA volunteer talk about?

Volunteers work with communities to:

Protect the environment and create jobs for young people in eco-tourism, like Ant Rewcastle in PNG.

Make sure children and adults with hearing impairment get an education and independence, like Jacqui Iseli in Vanuatu.

Save endangered wildlife, like Gary King in the Solomon Islands.

Why is a VSA volunteer a good speaker?

A VSA volunteer will bring to life the day to day experiences of a volunteer. Through stories and images students will understand how the money they raise helps an overseas community.

How can I get a speaker for my school?

Include your request to host a speaker when registering to take part in Project Friendship (using the form on this page), or contact us by emailing info@vsa.org.nz with the subject line "Register for a speaker."
