VSA Membership

VSA members are the lifeblood of our organisation. It is through their support that we are able to run such successful programmes in the Pacific, Asia, and Africa.

If you are a member but do not yet have an ID and password then please fill in some details on the contact us form and we will get one to you as soon as we can.

As a VSA member, you will receive:

 

• Two issues per year of our international magazine 'VISTA' with information about VSA, our volunteers, their assignments, and international development issues;
• Our annual report and financial statements;
• Opportunities to participate in a local branch; and
• Information about, and invitations to, VSA events in your area.

and also be:

 

• Eligible for election to the VSA Council, our governing body;
• Eligible to vote at Annual General Meetings; and
• Invited to attend our annual congress.

By joining VSA, you can increase your awareness of issues of international development and interdependence, cross-cultural understanding, and human rights. Some people join because they have been a volunteer in the past, some because they would like to be a volunteer in the future. There are many other members who just believe strongly in the good work that VSA and its volunteers do.
