Join A Branch

Branches support volunteers and VSA's national office with recruitment, fundraising and by talking about the organisation. They regularly correspond with volunteers overseas, and support them on their return. They're fun groups to become involved with - the Auckland branch recently participated in a community tree planting day... Wellington, ran a quiz night at a local pub - but there's also a serious side to what they do. For instance, they provide crucial support to volunteers, they nominate members to sit on VSA's governing Council, and they participate in the annual Congress.

Would you like to get involved with a VSA branch? VSA has two branches in Auckland, and one each in Hamilton (Waikato), Palmerston North (Manawatu), Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Dunedin. Regular meetings of interested supporters are also held in Northland, and we have district contacts throughout the country who are happy to answer your questions.
