Support A Volunteer

The supporters club is a flexible programme which gives businesses, service clubs, groups, and individuals the opportunity to become part of a group with a special commitment to VSA. You can choose to support a volunteer, a region in which VSA works, or join VSA's regular giving programme.

Wellington lawyer Adele Plummer recently spent two years as a VSA volunteer in Solomon Islands. She was sponsored by the Wellington District Law Society. Adele says:

"For me it was wonderful to have the interest and support of the Wellington District Law Society. Volunteering in Solomon Islands was an experience I have learnt a great deal from, both personally and professionally. No two days were the same.

I had the chance to give legal advice, promote legal awareness, and create guidelines to encourage transparency, accountability, and efficiency. The people I worked with in Solomon Islands expanded my outlook on many things and have made a significant impact on my future."
