Volunteer Service Abroad (VSA) is a New Zealand based international development agency, working in developing countries throughout Africa, Asia and the Pacific. VSA promotes international volunteering for development, linking New Zealanders with people working to create positive change in their communities and countries.

Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a person with initiative, drive, great interpersonal skills and a successful track record in fundraising to plan, develop and implement strategies to fund our activities.

Person profile includes:

A tertiary qualification in marketing, business development, or a related field
Minimum 3 years experience in a professional fundraising role
A good understanding and knowledge of the principles of fundraising within the charitable sector
Proven expertise in fundraising methodologies and techniques
Excellent networking skills including experience in building positive relationships with stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
Project management experience
Confidence and experience in public speaking, promotional writing and media relations
